Just like personal health issues brought me a career in wellness so too did menopause.  For the past 2 1/2 years I have gone through perimenopause and menopause.  I was determined to avoid hormone replacement therapy and knew, just like I could control my blood sugar, I could manage the symptoms of menopause with lifestyle.  
Nutrition, exercise, stress management and supplementation helped me and the women I coach reduce the symptoms and get through this phase of life without pharmaceutical intervention.  
I've established a private community on FaceBook for women to share their experiences, frustrations and personal tips.  Having a support group to stand by you is a key component to management menopause.
